Near the end of 2015, one of our children started using and became addicted to drugs. The details and ending of that season are in a book I wrote titled “Generation Freedom, Finding a New Normal in Your Journey with Jesus” but for now, I want to introduce you to Keving and me, our family, business, and our ministry. My name is Jeni Krumnow, and I am married to Kevin; together we have four grown children, and seven grandbabies. Kevin came into the relationship with one daughter, and I came sliding in with three sons. They were all older teenagers when we met, so the first year or so of our relationship came with many challenges.
Some brought on by our children but most of them by our own dysfunctions. Almost two years into our relationship, Kev and I got married, bought a house together, and were ready for a few years of empty-nesting before any of our kids would have babies, or so we thought. A year after buying our house, we were faced with walking out a drug addiction with one of our own, and he had a child in the process. This season of our life ended up taking us and our entire family on a journey that has completely transformed our lives even until today. It taught us faith, hope, and love like we had never known before. This season pushed us into the deep waters where we really met God face-to-face and heart-to-heart. Now our passion is to pursue others that are walking out difficult seasons in their life. We come alongside them to inspire that same faith, hope, and love that we came to know.
